Q. What is a buying agent?

A. An independent property professional, acting on your behalf to identify, negotiate and secure your ideal property.

Q. Are you an estate agent?

A. No. Our experience is far wider and lies in equal strengths in residential and commercial property and finance. We understand all areas of property investment from valuation to management. Whereas an Estate Agent acts in the best interests of the vendor, a buying agent is appointed to act exclusively in the buyer's best interests.

Q. Where do you operate?

A. We are based in the Cotswolds and cover the surrounding counties including Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and the surrounding parts of Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Wiltshire and Somerset, although when searches take us, we operate further afield, including London.

Q. Do you only deal with big budgets?

A. No. We are far more passionate about finding really interesting properties for discerning people. We are happy to discuss your budget in the context of your search requirements and advise accordingly.

Q. Do you do searches for international clients?

A. Yes and we have plenty of experience in dealing with any additional matters, such as putting together a team of advisors, travel arrangements etc.

Q. How many clients do you take on?

A. We strictly limit ourselves to avoid any conflicts of interest and so that we can give the highest levels of personal service.

To provide the best possible service, we only act for one client per price bracket and search area. Furthermore, all clients business is kept completely confidential; this is of the utmost importance to us.

Q. I do not know which area I want to be in, can you help?

A Absolutely, we can advise on the merits of one location over another and provide you with detailed reports on potential target areas. We also have an education consultant on the team who has had many years experience in helping parents with schooling decisions.

Q. What are your fees?

A. We charge a retainer, a one off fee payable upon our instruction. Having successfully found a property we charge a fee according to the individual search, based on a percentage of the purchase price or annual rent.
